Moving to a new place got me thinking. Do I really need all these things? On the other hand, throwing everything away would be such a waste given the fact we're not rolling in money. My sentimental soul battled with reason. And that is how my adventure with "upcycling" began. We didn't spend a single penny and lent our place a new look. Here are some of the moneywise ideas on how to inject life in your old belongings. I hope you'll share some of yours with me:)

Dear Szalwia sister (to those who are not familiar Szalwias came to life during one of the summer boot camps in Wozna Village in the 90's)
ReplyDeleteI love what you did with the granny's old recipes. They are exactly where they belong and thanks to your great sense of interior designing I will have a chance to glimpse at them every time I visit Olek. Babcia would be extremely proud of the way you preserved her in every little detail and each corner of your new home and her old household. Olek's upholstered chest and kitchen touch ups reminde me of Domowe Przedszkole and the ideas they had to make something out of nothing.
